Tofu Tees Martin Luther King Jr Day
Join Tofu Tees and our amazing community partners at our MLK Day event in Tofu Tees. Sunday, January 19 12-4pm. 1028 Fremont Street #111 What To Expect: 12pm-1pm: Enjoy live readings by "Read Freely Nevada", and Sabrina Hughes. RFN will be giving the first 40 kids a free book! Local author, Sabrina Hughes will be reading books from her collection. Guests can also shop her children's book series. 1pm-2pm: Create a "Reflection Zine" with all of your new friends, inspired by the stories, and event happenings. A zine is a mini magazine that is a tool of self-expression, and communication. 2pm-4pm: Make inspirational bracelets for women in a local rehabilitation center. We will also be making sandwiches for our favorite local pantry, The Solidarity Fridge. Free entry. All ages. Pets welcome. |

What To Expect:
We will be making custom tote bags together!
Choose from various patches, fabrics, and pins to create the cutest little tote bag. I'll sew everything on for you on-site! Can't wait to see what you create with me!
Workshop Cost: $25, includes all fabric, appliques, supplies, a tote bag, and 1 free Tofu Tees patch or pin.
