Hi, my name is Kumei! I am the 16 year old owner and designer of Tofu Tees. Here is the story of how WAPSS (Why Are Peepl So Sensitiv) came to be. Several years ago my mom and I were looking through old notebooks and sketchpads. We found ourselves laughing about some of the ridiculous things in my books. In one of the last books we looked through we found that I had written, "Why Are Peepl So Sensitiv". We wondered why a 6 year old me wrote that, but I couldn't remember why I wrote it. We decided that I should share it with the world by putting that slogan on tees, and well, here we are! Since then, Tofu Tees has evolved into a brand with a mission to bring attention to social issues year round, not just when they're trending!

An Inclusive Halloween Event? Can it get any better? Guests are invited to join us for a super fun night at Tofu Tees, making new friends, and celebrating diversity, and of course Halloween!
Kid Starter: A Youth Entrepreneur Event | Sunday 11/10 1pm-4pm
This is one for the business minded kids! I started Tofu Tees at the age of 8, and I LOVE sharing my story to inspire other kids to start their own businesses! This kid-focused event, will feature 20+ local youth entrepreneurs, artists, performers, and guest speakers. $20 Vendor Fee. Follow Tofu Tees on Instagram for updates on this event.
